The King of All Protein Supplements
By Phil Sims
There is a shocking protein discovery supplement out there today. Do you often wonder which protein works the best when you are trying to build up muscle in your body? It is probably shocking to you to find out that following popular bodybuilding advice about the powders is not always what it seems to be. They are actually consumed at different times for different reasons. A perfect example of this is Casein Protein. It is a very slow digesting protein. This is so because it is not as bio-available to your muscle. It actually works by forming a clot inside your stomach. It is taken because it digests very slow and the absorption is slow as well. This helps to prevent the breakdown of the muscle over a longer period of time.
This type of slow digesting proteins are said to work the best for those who considers themselves “hardgainers”! With the way they workout their metabolism would go through the others too fast for proper use. Then again the Whey proteins are very easily absorbed by your muscles. These are best used after you are done with the workout. The advantage of these fast moving proteins is that it sends the amino’s straight to the muscles. They do not last long and it will leave your muscles without unless it is constantly replenished.
It is time to forget what you have learned or think you know about the subject. The highest bio-available protein is “Whey protein hydrolysate”. It has been said to be like crack cocaine to your muscles because it is digested and absorbed so fast and it is unlike any other out there. Supplement, Supplements are not a bad thing if you can not stand drinking the powders.
Even if you consider yourself a bodybuilding expert, you should only use this type of protein directly after your workout. It has the highest availiability of amino acids and lasts about three hours after you consume it. It is said to be the king of all of the proteins.
It’s good stuff hydrolysate but it’s very expensive so most people tend not to bother with it.
Yea its a pricey one isn’t it. I have tried it before but I don’t know if it made any difference because I didnt use it for long enough. Could not afford any more after the first lot!
If price is an issue I would keep the cash for good quality food
Good advice Phil. A good quality diet comes before any supplement. I think a lot of people forget that a few years ago there was no such thing as “bodybuilding supplements”. A good diet is key. Gains are made outside of the gym.
